The Little Dog Hands-Free - for dogs 2-15 lbs.

It's so well designed, and I'm not gonna lie: my inner child loved the ability to customize the leash to my color preferences. But truly, this is such a functional long line, very well thought out for what dogs and their caregivers need. And the long line holder saves my mental health for sure. I have several long lines of various textures and lengths, and tend not to use any of them because pulling them out and getting them untangled in the bane of my existence. The long line holder allows me to gather up the leash, keep it untangled and ready to go, and hang it on the hooks with our other outdoor equipment for ease of access and reduced clutter. I am a lifelong customer now!

It took me way too long to purchase a long line from Trailblazingtails! They come highly recommended by my sister, Syd. We got a 15 foot for a new and extremely energetic puppy. The outings have changed. Walking with this new pup was fast and furious, half stepping, tripping over our own feet, twirling around the leash, stepping over the leash, tripping while trying to step over the leash. Meanwhile pup is zigging and zagging, stopping and going and clearly annoyed with the human fumble trying to keep up. It was a hot mess! Now the walks are quiet and calm for the human and fun and loose for the pup! The color orange is great. The material is perfect for our hot, humid, rainy and salty climate. We were concerned the material and hardware would be too heavy for our tiny dogs. The largest weighing 10 lbs and the smallest 6 lbs. It’s not! The clip is very light weight and doesn’t bang on the back of the dogs and we ordered the regular small dog long line- 15 feet! It’s thin, light but also durable. It’s drags in mud, dirt, salty water, and is still like new! No stains! We’ll also be purchasing the 8 foot for of our dogs when we walk in busy foot traffic areas. We are so thrilled with this purchase! Thank you!

The 10’ (3/8”width) lead for my 9.5 lb dog has been great! Our little guy seems to love the sense of freedom it gives him. I do feel like our communication is improved A major upgrade in materials and usability. Love the orange color toooooo.

I have a little 12 lb dog that HATES leashes, even the simple paracord with a light snap. She freezes and won’t move (she can follow along without a leash just fine… but obviously that is not always a viable choice). A friend used this with her Frenchie girls and they loved it, so I gave it a go.

She is so happy with it, she just trots along like she never had a problem. We tried all kinds of training trouble shoots and contortions, and this was a simple, happy solution.
I also have 2 Frenchie client dogs for walking and although they were fine with the regular trailblazing long line that I use, they would get annoyed if it accidentally swiped their head. They LOVE this little lead, so I always keep one in my walking bin for the smaller dogs. They REALLY do appreciate it.

What a great addition to our walks! Now when we go to the park, Maude has the freedom to sniff all over as long as she stays within 15 feet. With the leash looped over my shoulder, my arms are free to move as if I'm not walking my dog on a leash. Feels great!

Pretty sure we'll order another one for times when we are out on the town and need less length. Super soft material, easy to hold in hand. High quality.

Maude is a papillon and typically carries her tail high when we're on walks. After a bit of walking on the long leash, her tail relaxed and dropped. So relaxed...love it!
