What is BioThane®?
BioThane® is made and manufactured in North Ridgeville, OH. It is a polyester webbing coated with a TPU or PVC coating that makes is waterproof, odor-proof, durable, easy-to-clean and sanitize.
Best way to clean BioThane®:
You can simply wipe it off after each use with damp cloth, or clean with mild soap and water. For tough stains, use lemon juice and baking soda. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Best way to care for BioThane®:
Avoid leaving out in extreme weather conditions and store in a dry place out of direct sunlight to avoid cracking or fading.

Do you offer traffic handles or an alternative?
Yes, we offer a traffic handle on The Pica.
If you’re looking for a great, less bulky alternative, choose our patent-pending “knot” design on The Not-a-Knot, or as an add-on for The Big Dog, The Medium Dog, The Little Dog, The Whole Shebang, or our Extension/Drag Line.
How to choose the best width for you and your dog?
Weight matters to many dogs, especially for those dogs who have handling sensitivities. Dogs have no interest in being tied to a human on a leash. It is a foreign concept to a canine. Our job as humans, living in our human world, is to help them feel comfortable and safe on leash where they can explore with their nose and be a dog.
At Trailblazing Tails, we build through the lens of a dog and understand that hardware and construction can weigh gear down. The larger in width, the bigger and heavier the hardware, which can ultimately affect the level of communication we have with our dogs. Our hardware is specifically chosen for the size and weight of dogs with weight limits listed on each leash. It is also solid brass, timeless, and virtually rust-proof.
Size up if your dog pulls heavily or you prefer a larger piece of solid brass hardware and/or wider design.

Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we do not ship outside of the United States. We've found that international shipping often results in long delivery times and inconsistent tracking, even with priority or expedited options. To ensure the best experience for our customers, we’ve chosen to limit shipping to U.S. addresses only at this time.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
Yes. We gladly accept returns and exchanges: You can return your order in original or near-original condition for a full refund within 30 days of your order date.
Condition of return:
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its near-original condition, the buyer is responsible for a restocking fee of $15.
